Autosalon Goldcoast 2007

Creating your own unique car is becoming a more difficult task at events like Autosalon, gone are the days of throwing a buttload of cash at a stereo, mags and paint job.
So what we have here is a PSP in the steering wheel of a series 8 RX7 (lushes), some of you will recognise this particular RX7 as the one with the LCD’s for headlights and the awesome candy apple paint. More pics of ‘lushes’ here.
This is actually a first for me, an xbox 360 in, yup IN the engine bay of a car (Honda S2000 in this case), along with 2 LCD screens.
And a couple more engine come lounge rooms…
Airbrush work was big on most if not all cars, with a couple of examples really standing out from the crowd. The evil joker on a WRX (seen above) and my absolute personal favourite was this demonic looking guy on the front of a pretty stock looking Toyota Corolla. Something about the colour of the car and airbrushing really look fantastic. A nice subtle piece of work.

Now for the GOOD STUFF! What would Autosalon be without the beautifully girls walking around in skin tight tiny outfits? Well it’d be a sausage fest and well best not think about that.
Anyways the girls were as always HOT! Every other event promoter take note! The girls in skimpy outfits are huge crowd pleasers and attract lots and lots and LOTS of attention. I’d bet that 10x more photos are taken at events like Autosalon, purely because there are hotties walking about who are more than willing to have their photo taken.

On A Serious Note
The Gold Coast convention centre was literally overflowing with people *trying* to get into have a look at what was on offer at Autosalon this year. I don’t really want to be negative, but I along with the rest of the crowd were more than a little angry upon walking into the convention centre.
There was a line atleast 300metres long, with only three counters to buy tickets from. I have no idea who decided that this would be sufficient, as it was most definitely NOT, but the Autosalon guys and gals should know having organised numerous events that 3 counters is NOT enough!
