TYRH8R Video
The day for WAR had arrived Burnout Warriors State of Origin Wakefeild Park was open for tyre smashing business. With so much interest in this event over the past few months we were all looking forward to an action packed day. Upon driving in to Wakefield Raceway, the usual suspects were hanging about but there were quite a few cars absent. None the less there was a tough line up of cars ready to go.

CMEFRY Video
Looking around the sheds, the war of words was finally over and now it was all about the burnouts. NSW had the likes of TRYH8R, CMEFRY, ULEGAL, ONBOC and VK671 just to name a few. It was pretty obvious that the Mexicans had their work cut out for them. The Vics were surely out numbered but they brang their finest to wage war - Clint Ogilive’s FRONT / BACK Pink LC, Steve Loaders beast UCSMOKE, GRUNDY and Leroy Rees with his BIGV8 - you almost felt sorry for the tyres(atleast it would be over quick!).

ULEGAL Burnout Video
First car out on the pad was Mick Brasher in ULEGAL with his trade mark Aussie fingers and flags the fun began. State of Origin soon started to get into the swing of fast, loud and nothing but great burnouts. Everything had fallen into place with such a relaxed atmosphere it seemed like we where at a burnout party not World War I.

BIGV8 burnout video
There was action all day, every single car was putting on a great skid. With the pad being a little narrower than some that did not stop anyone from pulling out some massive whips.

UCSMOKE Burnout Video
One of the best parts of this event was that passengers could hop a ride in cars whilst on the pad, I was lucky enough to go for a ride in Steve Loaders UCSMOKE and let me tell you it was one WILD ride.

ONBOC Burnout Video
Through out the day all of the cars where able to have more than one skid some like Donny in ONBOC had 3 or 4. The Golbourne crowd really got to witness on of the best and most relaxed burnout competitions in all of Australia

FL120Y Burnout Video
With all types of cars from Blown Big Block V8’s to a Turbo powered 120Y everybody was driving the wheels of their rides !!!!

PROPSI Burnout Video
World War one was a test of not only driver’s but their machines as well. Unfortunatly Dave in PROPSI literally smashed his gear box into peices. Awarding him the ‘Biggest Blow Up’ trophy for the day

When the end of the day arrived NSW took the over all trophy!!!! Victorians did put on a great show as you can tell from the result every Mexican took home a trophy. After a perfect day of carnage there was nothing left other than a pile of shredded tyres and a lot of happy poeple !
Thanks and Congrats to Simbad, Mrs Simbad and all their helpers, you all stepped up to the plate and put on a trully great day see you next year for more!
Congrats to Steve Loader for winning the Blown class burnouts, CMEFRY for winning the NA class burnouts and FL120Y for winningcritter class! See ya all next time - can’t wait!
