Initial Drift held a practice drift day at Eastern Creek last saturday (July 15th) and it was the first drift event i’ve ever attended. I tell you what, the weather may have been terrible (pouring rain, dark clouds and basically miserable), but it was a fantastic day. Everyone on the track appeared to be having a brilliant time and no one was holding back.
Infact, I think the rain helped a few of the lower power cars hook up a few quality drifts. There were mainly imports such as 180’s, silvias, AE-86s etc in the line up with the odd Datsun 280zx(looked pretty stock but the guy was getting right up it having a great time) out there and one really loud RX7 not surewhat series maybe VI.
