Revfest is back!

After a couple years absense, Revfest is back and set to hit the Hunter Valley - Cessnock Airport to be exact. I don’t have a heap of info yet, but Mark Arblaster gave me the following details so far :

Details :

Saturday 24th October 2009 from ~12 noon till 7pm.

At Cessnock Airport

Powerskids, burnouts and drag racing events.

Entry costs :

$25 to get in the gate and includes free entry for the Show N Shine.

$80 for entrants into the driving events.

Rules & Prizes :

Cars that appear to be rego’d, so no dungers on their last legs.

The last ever Revfest in Wagga has been and gone and what a huge turnout of both cars and spectators. No, not the last Revfest ever, just the last one in Wagga sadly. The crowd was enormous all day, with plenty of action and elite show cars to view.

Father and son Top Doorslammer champs Victor and Ben Bray set the burnout pad alight on Saturday night with hitting the pad at the same time. Coming within inches of one another whilst performing a little circle work.

This weekend the 27th of October is it, the very last Revfest to be held in Wagga and it is going to be HUGE! Victor and Ben Bray will be there in their burnout cars over 10,000HP. Forza is returning with their tough drag come burnout cars along with UCSMOKE.

Events to be held are donut king aka Super Seven, who can do 7 donuts the quickest, Go To Whoa, Sound Off, Top Show Cars, Supercruise and the always entertaing Smash up Derby.

Revfest Burnout Party 2007

Revfest Burnout Party has come and gone for 2007, with plenty of tyres popped and plumes of rubber lingering over Wagga Wagga.

There wasn’t a huge showing of show cars, but it’s a burnout party and there was plenty of burnout action on show.

I’ve always wondered why ‘yummy’ in particular seems to get massive amounts of smoke coming out of the engine bay? Does anyone know why or even how the smoke from the rear wheels manages to make its way to the front of the car so quickly?
