Initial Drift held a practice drift day at Eastern Creek last saturday (July 15th) and it was the first drift event i’ve ever attended. I tell you what, the weather may have been terrible (pouring rain, dark clouds and basically miserable), but it was a fantastic day. Everyone on the track appeared to be having a brilliant time and no one was holding back.
Infact, I think the rain helped a few of the lower power cars hook up a few quality drifts. There were mainly imports such as 180’s, silvias, AE-86s etc in the line up with the odd Datsun 280zx(looked pretty stock but the guy was getting right up it having a great time) out there and one really loud RX7 not surewhat series maybe VI.
Anyways, as usual a heap of pics were taken and unfortunately the bad weather meant they’re not as clear as i’d like but here they are anyways.

Hopefully by the time the next drift practice day rolls around, a mate of mine and I will have a V8 ready to enter 
No promises but that’s the plan and i’ll keep an update of our progress!
