Elite Pro Street Burnouts (EPSB) promised to deliver Australia’s toughest burnout comp and guess what? They DELIVERED big time! Through out the entire night there was zero down time, cars were whisked off the track within seconds of stopping or erupting into flames. Spectators didn’t get time to empty the one eyed piss pipe, let alone get bored. Action action action would be the best way to describe Elite Pro Street Burnouts!
EPSB has definitely raised the bar for burnout comps, with literally MILLLIONS of dollars worth of cars lining up. With the *slowest* having done a low 11 second quarter mile, it was obvious we were in for a real treat.
Burnouts
Normally I’d say ok here’s a list of the big name cars doing burnouts, the thing is every car was a big car and every car did a killer skid.
Hour of power may need to be renamed the hour of destruction! The last hour of burnouts dubbed ‘The Hour of Power’ was chock full of flames and big dollar carnage!
ATRISK hit 8,800 rpm before deciding the engines insides wanted to say hello to the outside world.
One entrant was lucky enough to throw a leg out of bed in just the right spot. Check the 308 casting off the block 
Demo Burnouts
The No Mercy team tore up the track in a number of different cars, however the most outrageous would have to have been the Torana sitting atop 24″ rims waiting to be torn to shreds. Yup that reads TWENTY FOUR INCH RIMS that he took into the burnout comp wanting to pop them - 1500 smackeroos a tyre, plenty of smoke but the suckers just didn’t want to pop.
Cross Roads Racing let their Studebaker door slammer loose on the track.
