FAT 245, going to a 9 inch presents a ****load of problems, well that I can see anyway. Trying to fit a fixed diff on an IRS rear end isnt possible I dont think. On my Merc the axle housings look like they connect to the diff by a type fo ball and socket type joint. If I go to a fixed diff with and IRS rear end, I run the risk of breaking the diff housing right?
