it seems that way. take for instance Tuff Street at the Summernats this year, i think the first 4 cars were all blown. last year my brother was runner-up the car was making decent power around 600hp@atw on low boost, it is fully registered, engineered and driven on the street almost daily, he was told it didn't win because it has no visual effect. which i find funny because in the Tuff Street rules it states cars must be registered, steet driven etc, yet u see 400+ci blown cars, with them hanging 1m out of the bonnet
what state is that legal in? yeah it looks great but so does a set of hairdryers on a V8 all engineered to fit under the bonnet, it just doesn't have the WOW factor until u look underneath
