Years ago a mate and I were talking about how cool it would be to have an online magazine like the old Performance Street Car. Real tech articles and feature cars that have a bit of grunt. Not the usual show ponies with the usual stories about how much pearl is in the paint and how much white leather is in the interior. Cars that guys build and race and thrash themselves with their mates, not cars they brought or paid someone to build for them.

I also really like checking out the members cars and seeing how other people do things and learning from their triumphs and stuff ups. I often PM others to see how they did modifications and what they would do differently if they did it again. Guys like IMA400 and Hypo have some great info in their threads, this should be encouraged. There is nothing better in my opinion than reading about how Hypo fitted a stabilizer bar and picked up ET or Chris fitted SB2 heads and ran an 8 or Berzerk fitted a low blow to a stock 308 and blew the bags off in top gear.

yeah - i'm the same, i llove all the smaller details that you can pick up from people who have actually tried and tested different things.

WIth re to the forum width - does anyone else think it should be wider? I have kept it this width to be consistent with the rest of the site.

As for the rides issue - i'll look into that, it should be editable for everyone.

I would like to see the photo submissions stuff sorted out, one day i'm being told I have to put them in the sell your photos and media section and then the next day other blokes who sell photos are whacking them up anywhere they want. I'm not trying to have a bitch about it I just want the same rules to apply to everyone and I want to know where i can put photos of events I go to so members can see them.

P.S You didn't give me any stickers at Gazzanats for my car Adam.

On the panel & paint side maybe some tech info from paint companies & painters on their products [ie; metal preps, soda blasting or dipping, etch & epoxy primer, sealers etc] also metal suppliers for info on the types & grade of metals & their uses [ steel-cold rolled,hot rolled, gal, zinc anneal, c/moly tube ; aluminium grade 5005 -5085 etc ]

i rekon this forum is pretty dam good as it is i have never been infoled in some like this and all the people that are on here are great were eals can you put on a tshrit and have guys and girls come up to you and say gday.
aj is one off the nices guys that i have meet that runs something like this and becuase off his everts we all get to talk about what we love cars horse power burnotus and anything else that we can thing off.

maybe some car reviews with a twist as most of us are into cars with a bit of time under the tyres(older cars) what about digging up some reviews of these cars from when they were released,might make for a good read but over all i personally think its a great forum with pretty decent members better then alot of other forums no fcukwit members

yes this site seems to be very pleasent and welcoming unlike some other forums

i reckon nothing needs to change on the site, it's easy to use, full of down to earth, good humored homo-sapiens, no need to resize/re format, it's the best online site as is.

there is one thing i have noticed that you cant go back and edit old posts is there a reason or can that be changed or dose any body want that changed i am esay on this subject but others may want this changed

the only thing that needs changing around here is the banning of ford owners spoiling our computer screens with the unlawful use of thier mugshots in thier signatures!!!!!:1 orglaugh:
