Mercules Back on track!
 Well it has been a long ass time since I updated anything about Mercules, but it's finally getting back on track. The plan now is to get her finished asap, it is so close and has been sitting under a car cover for far too long now. Ordered a bunch of parts to get the majority of the engine bits and pieces finished off. PARTS LIST : B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter Harmonic Balancer Pulleys for Crank & Water Pump Holley Blue fuel pump Autometer Gauges - water temp, trans temp & oil pressure (these will all be hidden in the glove box - glove box build pics coming next week). Alternator & alter bracket Rocker covers & chrome timing chain cover + breathers Air fileter Short nosed water pump Dissy (nothing special just a basic Powerfire dissy - this is a cruiser) Starter motor Leads First on the list of things to do is get the gauges mounted in the glovebox. I've started this and should have it all completed by end of next week. Interior is being taken to a new interior guy as the current one hasn't pulled his finger out of his **** in the 2 years he has had it. There'll be alot more in the way of updates on the merc in the coming months as it needs to be finished off! If anyone knows of a place to get decent priced mandrel bends - please hit me up as the exhaust and headers need to be finished too. cheers, AJ Mercules Chev Powered Mercedes Benz

Awesome to hear she's back on track mate. Two years waiting for interior is MAD...And I thought the 3 months I waited for mine was bad.
I got my first car show in CRIPPLE this weekend. Its still not finished but she is getting VERY close. I finished building new engine today, finished sump fabrication today and plonk the engine and box in tomorrow. Also got some new turbo headers which should work a lot better and had the state newspaper over today to do a story on her. G
