yeah i merely picked out the ferrari as i know you love em :P

the v8s are very quick - i spose i really did miss your point. I think they're protective so as to keep from anyone getting killed in the process of racing them. Also by that reasoning, i'd expect that the Targa series in Australia will be stuck with a bunch of new rules after brocks death....

yeah. mmm..... getting killled? that's what roll cages are for. hehe

i guess they race for different reasons.

i do believe a few years ago, a skyline raped them all v8. heard it was a stocker but i could be wrong.

they wanna improve this and that but they just wanna play amongst themselves, i don't see major room for improvement there if everyone's the same.

it's all about pushing the boundaries, clearly they still have space to improve.

heh - it most definitely was not a stocker -

pics of it here

It had huge advantages over the V8s of the time - namely 4wd.

I really don't think you get it with re to V8 supercars. The idea is to keep it as ismilar as possible so as to keep great competition. Look at the F1 - that is one of the most boring sports to watch. My personal favourites are the V8s and 2L super tourers. The fact taht the cars are ketp so similar in power etc makes for entertaining racing. No one wants to watch one car dominate the rest day in and out.

Honestly I think your just a little biased when it comes to talking about v8s. Instead of hating them, appreciate them for what they are and offer. Seriously, personally I love everything and anything that offers performance :) Hating v8s just cos is silly and makes you look as bad as the rednecks who hate imports for no reason...

so that's why. finding out who's the better driver is the aim of the game?

i do appreciate them but i guess they have space for improvement right?

my comment started because of their suspension settings, i appreciate cars.

i'm not too keen on the car bashing and people knocking each other off the road. issit intentional on the part of the driver or involuntary because of the car's settings?

You've lost me - when do cars run each off the road intentionally?

If you're referring to the V8 series then I can't think of a time this has happened? It's the same as teh drift, sometiems cars come off the road, whether it be driver, car or no room...

it must be me then. lol most times i see car bashing like the v8 supercars sometimes there's car contact and it seems to be the choice of some drivers to do that to benefit.

going off the track is part and parcel for sure. worse off is drift. lol cars seem to find the wall for no apparent reason.

i'll just stop here because it's going further than what it should. lol small matter
