Yeah, I did think of it initially, but then I decided to rip off the sniffpetrol.com model :P. This way, it's once a month thing like a single page from a magazine or newspaper, that's pretty easy to sort out with Dreamweaver. The other rationale behind the current setup is that I can do whatever I want (maybe that should read whatever I'm capable of doing...), without having to work to a pre-defined format of layout. The HTML page is more suited to graphics and that sort of stuff, too.

Still haven't really found any definitive answers on the reversed graphics, will keep you posted.

I never questioned why they were reversed, but maybe its to do with layout, ie so the graphics are symetrical on both sides of the car, maybe one day a long time ago someone in japan just cbf laying out the graphics again for the other side, or had a logo that didnt quite fit in the other way, so just flipped the whole thing :)

nice pics btw

you know that actually makes sense - perhaps that is how it all started? THen it more than likely turned into a 'cool' thing to do.

I think 3AM may have answered the reversed vinyls question...

You can actually do whatever you like with wordpress - gimme a week and i'll have the front page here sorted with wordpress to show you what I mean :) At the same time, I understand what you mean.

Apologies for the delay in getting back here, but well noted with 3AM's call r/e- the vinyls.

A quick head's up, Oran Park will be on Speedweek (SBS), this Sunday from 12 noon. Should be good from what I've heard. No doubt it'll be easier to watch on TV than it would've been to watch sitting in the hot temperatures, wind and dust all day the other week!

So that is the reason for the vinyls being reversed?

Thanks for the heads up re Speedweek - i'll definitely be watchingg that on Sunday. Did they cover both saturday and sunday?

As stupid as it will seem, everytime I speak to someone who would know, I forget to ask about the vinyls, but I imagine 3AM's explanation would be pretty close to the mark. I'll make sure I get an answer this week.

Speedweek will have coverage from Sunday. It's when all the DA battles and Super Drift finals took place.

It's not really a big deal mate :) . 3AM is the sticker & design man so he'd probably be right ;)

Will be watching Speedweek tomorrow whilst working on todays pics from Gazzanats :)

That was brilliant coverage. I couldn't even see how dusty it was on sunday on that vid - kudos to speedweek :)

Bring on season 2007!

I exchanged texts with Nathan after Waido mentioned the 'Speedshots.com.au Nissan 200SX', he was very impressed, hahahaha.

The Speedweek coverage turned out well. From what I'd heard about the conditions on Sunday, I half expected it to look like the event was being held in the Simpson Desert, but credit to the guys and gals from AVE for putting together a quality product from the trying conditions.

Hopefully 3AM is right, I still don't have an answer and keep forgetting about it. Go team memory!

In my defence, part of my forgetfulness has been that I've been occupied discussing DA's latest online venture - videos on YouTube. We've got some of the compilation vids from our presentation night online , which can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/profile_video...iftAustraliaTV
