Hey Guys,
I am about 95% Certain that I will be going EFI on the Val, I have a few questions for those that can Answer them. Ok the Plan; Basically it will be to adapt a EFI Setup off an Commodore using Audi V8 Larger Bosch Injectors and Use my Dizzy and MSD for Ignition, The ECU will Control Fuel Only (For Now), But from what Ive heard from using the Holden Delco ECU is that it can also Control Timing, I am Wondering how the Commodore Setups Determine when the injector needs to pulse and what the easiest way it will be to adapt a Similar sensor to the Hemi and Also What Throttle Bottle will Flow Aproximately 370-400CFM, Also the ECU will need to remapped for the engine, should any tuner who can play with the Delco's be able to setup a Basic Map in the ECU for my Engine spec's to get the engine running and able to be driven to the Tuner for a Final Tune, Below is a List of Parts that I have Come up with that I Need so far: - ECU - Throttle Body with Sensor - Injectors - Fuel Rail - EFI Pump - Lines Fuel Supply and Return Line - Fuel Rail Regulator - Knock Sensor Any help will be Appreciated to help me get my Head Around this, if your in sydney there might be a beer ot two in for you ![]() Nathan |

After Reading somewhat, I have been lead to believe that the Injector will need to Point at the Valve seat (or as close as I possible can)

dont worry about air flow sensor in the throttle body your better of using a map sensor. you will need an o2 sensor.
the only thing i can suggest with regaurds to your injectors, you may need to get the inlet ports cut out with a die grinder similar to a head off an ecotec or late model injected model (VN-VT). then get a custom manifold gasket |

Nathan - if your serious about fuel injection you need to talk to Nik from the Cavoa club. He has the pristine Pacer with injected 265 and understands the set-ups for Hemis inside out and back to front.

the delco ecu relys on a tdc pulse aswell as a cylinder pulse referance too.
for what your talking about doing you could use an autronics or similar ecu. a lot easier than modifying a delco and commodore loom. i dont know if firing order on a chrysler is the same but you don't want to complicate it too much mate.

exactly same firing order has Holden 202, I do not want the ECU to Control ignition, just fuel for the time being.
I was looking at a Holden 220 VK EFI Setup but i havn't been able to find alot fo information about them. |

thats exactly the system i was thinking of. simple to set up works really well if its done right. but you do need to run an air flow meter thats all.
