what temp are we talking as hot and also which side of the radiator is the fan mounted on? is the fan going in the correct direction and what temp are you turning it on

the thermo comes on as soon as i hit the ignition i think my thermostat is 160 or 180 degrees my temp gauge says its up around the 260 degrees and the thermo fan sucks and got it on the inside of the radiator

Shaun,
if its a new thermostat, ya radiator is cleaned inside & out, 10pound rad cap that is servicable,ya have got a clock wise rotating water pump on & going, ya fans are pulling & ya timing is right. it should be cool, but if all these are right id start by= *looking for bubbles in ya rad eg (head gastet) *scale in the block restricting flow * wrong head gasket or somthink funny hope ya get it sorted  |

i know this isn't much help but i don't run one as i find them to restrictive and my car tends to run a little warm
