My friend recently got a Valor DTS-603W In-Dash DVD/CD receiver from Amazon.com. Everything is working pretty fine except the DVD. It doesn't play any DVDs while driving. He was told to install Bypass/override, but he doesn't know how to do it. Need your help to perform this task.
Thanks in advance. |

did you or your mate hook the unit up ?
if not the majority of installers hook them up with a handbrake switch or something similar so that when the handbrake (or whever it is hooked up to ) is released the dvd can't be played if you can find that wire and either remove the switch and make it so it's always on or fit a switch that will let you overide it then it will work for you. I know in Australia it's a legal requirment that any one who installs these devices must fit that wire
