MESSAGE FROM THE PREMIER OF NEW SOUTH WALES
The NSW Government, through Events NSW, is pleased to support the Corowa Autofest, to be held on the weekend of 27 and 28 February 2010. The Corowa Autofest is a key regional event for NSW, injecting more than $430,000 into the local economy. It sits alongside other motorsport events on the 2010 NSW Master Events Calendar, including Bathurst 12 Hour, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and Sydney Telstra 500. With entries from every state and territory, we can expect crowds from across the country to flock to Corowa for a weekend of motor sport action. Events such as these play an important role in regional NSW, driving tourism, creating jobs and delivering major economic benefits to the community. As well as supporting the local tourism sector, Autofest will be a great opportunity for local families to enjoy car, merchandise and trade displays, competitions, food and wine, live entertainment and rides for the kids. On behalf of the NSW Government, I congratulate the Corowa community for extending their country hospitality and hosting such a popular event. Kristina Keneally, MP NSW Premier |
