big congrats to the nuckenfuts gemmy for taking out the win in the burnout comp only just edging easty and racenu!! got plenty of vids which i'll put up later tonite
cheers for a good weekend to all the dedicated guys who put on the show!! we will be back!!!
Thanks Jas, was a pleasure having all you guys put on a great show. With the time it would have taken to set the track back up again with such a hasty packup we really didnt have much choice. If we had setup we might have just finished racing but no burnouts or do as we did and go for at least one complete comp. Hopefully next year will be even bigger with more time to organise it. Propain was right in the mix too, great seeing first timers at the track do well esp when they travel so far to compete. Big thanks to all who made the effort.

thanks mate great event, you guys did well with the cards you were delt, at the end of the day its an airport first and drag strip second, i was blown away by the fact that even though the drags were cancelled almost everyone still hang around till the end of the burnouts! jus shows the dedication and support our sport is getting! there was also surprisingly alot of grip there, a few cars were lifting wheels off the line!
and well done to all the burnout competitors the was alot of quality cars skidding, very hard to pick a winner, there was about alot cars right up there for the win!
had a ripper weekend two thumbs up!
yeah it was a top skid jas, good vid of it too ricko!

Mate any time you want to come down and put on a display like that we will be more than happy to see you. Think the airport crew would be gratefull to you for cleaning up the weeds along the side of the track too. Planning already to make next year even better.
