that will cost a bit 400rwkw any way

the banjo with billet axles and full spool will prob take that ecspecially due to toranas are light cars

or you could go mini spool dont even think nine inch that is cave man talk these days you can get billet internals for most diffs and a unsessacry upgrade is fully floating hubs wich makes the diff even stronger

but it all costs $$$

there could be some nine inches for sale already for torries but you need aftermarket sway bar for them that would save money but you have to find one

but the first opiton can be done in a day if you book in and get your car there but like i said will cost you

A 9in with good quality bits or a VLT B/W with the good bits and good axles Seeing as though there is so many fast vl's and the like using these with out dramas!

to get a borgwarner for a torana might be an ask as you dont hear of to many

this why i said if you can find a nine inch all ready made to suit it will be cheapest

Toymota Hilux model RN 15, 20 or 25 are very strong, only 4mm wider than standard LJ & lsd centres available would & have been a good choice for some..

in my opinion you cant go past a nine inch period! basically an install and forget job, borgies can be modified but alot of people wont touch em due to the fact they have to weld mild steel to cast steel, and will cost about the same as an nine inch modify, a hilux diff would be a good option so long as you get the ratio you need! and the banjo is a complete waste of time and money, yes you can get them to survive but only just. i was chatting to a bloke and heathcote last year who was runnig a banjo with billit axles and a spool which had to be custom made and cost a fortune behind a 400hp 308in an lx and every run he couldnt launch of the line instead he drive off the line and ran 11.8's car would have been alot quicker if he could get it off the line better, any time he tried to launch it he blew the centre up!

yea banjos are a waste but i want to state if you had a unlmited pocket book the you could deck one out with full billet guts but waste of time

go the nine inch due to it's proven behind well underneath toranas

as for another fact one of my mates who is building a slr5000 is using the stock diff behind a 308 that will make bout 450fly hp i just had a look at the project yesterday and it will be on the dyno soon so i can tell you how much the diff can take

I beg to differ shear size of 9inches turning it over with less torque (a six) i would go a borg warner or a hilux diff havent had much to do with hilux diffs heard good things about em tho yeah 9inch's suck alot of power outta your motor by the time the power is at the ground in my opinion, i know of cars running 600hp plus with borg warners.
