![]() This boat was seen crossing the English cannel at more than 60 knots. Some drugs and guns where found on board. Who thinks of puting 8 x 250hp ouboards on a inflatable rib.

Its actually not, quite the opposite in fact. Saw this thing years ago its actually a coast guard boat to catch the drug runners coming over from cuba or something like that. More reliable having more motors coz if two stuff up, its not a big deal :P

That thing would be really quick......................in a straight line... The 4 lower outboards would provide almost all the grunt, and the outside higher ones would do the steering, but by the look of it's shape, at any decent speed, if you turned just that bit too steeply, it'd whip right around and thatd be the end of ya, lol. Would be fun though.

I thought the same as you Adam - had to be photoshop.
If its real that thing would be a real pig to turn - ski boat racing makes up a fair chunk of my dim dark past (no boat jokes please!!!!!! )Ran twins and triples but you had to get all the motors to turn in unison to get any sort of agility. Fixed mounting of those middle four would mean that they are trying to drive it in straight line all the time. This thing is designed to go bloody fast in straight line not turn. 60knots - no way this thing would go heaps faster if real. (60knots = 70mph or 112kph) - you can get that out of high performance single 250/300 outboard. My guess would be closer to 100knots. The fuel tanks would have to be enormous as well.

First of all - the weight alone would sink it in the back.. those engines is HEAVY
The engines alone, would be around 2 TONS in total - no way that is real OF those engines was fired off at the same time, it would rip that rubber thing apart. That much force on such a long beam - i dont believe it That many propellers located that close to each other is highly ineffective.. rater useless really. I say its a fake - might have been build, but then those engines are fake
