Thanks for the comments Guys !!

I will put more info up as it becomes available

Motor will be something that suits the car we are building (think big power, small capacity)

Time slips - 8's would be nice - 7's is the goal !!!!!!

Will take either as my budget is not the same as the Big Boys !!

Little bit of an update

Some goodies finally arrived from MIKE TURBO in the US

Damn I love the current exchange rates

BRAND NEW – Borg Warner S400 80MM Turbo to suit my application

Still in the wrapping (mandatory beer can for size reference)

Unwrapped – It’s a big F*@ker

Front on view of the Turbo (makes my can of NEW look like a snack size)

Impeller Wheel – DAMN BIG

BRAND NEW – Tial 60MM RACEGATE (in shiny silver)

Next to the same Beer Can (no I wasn’t spending that much time taking photos)

Motor details are almost finalized and I will post another update next week

Hopefully will have seen more from the Chassis shop by then as well

Welcome to 2010 !!!!

Boost wise - All I will say is a F*&K Load !!!

Car will be on Meth from day one and the motor is being built to handle a huffer that size

Engine builder knows his stuff and here's a little vid to show you what he can do with a 1.1lt (12A) on a small tyre

Weekly Update Time

Most of the clip has been welded in this week and is starting to take shape

The cage has started to be bent up (I am still deciding on how far to go with the cage)

Cage is bent up out of Racetech tube and will be certainly strong enough to keep me out of trouble

Biggest update for the week is that the Diff Housing is almost ready to install with the 4 link brackets and support braces all welded on – It sure looks the business !!

Here’s a pic of it after it had come back from being welded – sitting waiting to go to it’s HOME!!

I am still deciding on whether to run a set of Gun Drilled 40 spline axles or to use the Strange Two-Piece axles that are rated to sub 7.50s

Any advice or experience with either the Strange 40’s or the Strange two-piece would be great !!!

I'm actually based back in Sydney

I was in Tassie for work and the Chassis Builder is down there

But

The car will be definitely a Mainland Racer

We will hopefully do the Eastern seaboard states when she is ready to race !!

yea thats the go get a blowdryer nearly the same size of the rotors when you go this way it's more of a jet engine with the rotary just transfering the power to the road lol but remeber the oil system needs to be worked out i know ppl that use two stroke oil in there tank when running rotars due to they need oil injetors and have special oil squriters on the esscentrick shaft that spray oil in the guts of the rotars so oil is crictical
