Default hz build

picked it up from bathurst after a bit of a road trip, its a hz kingswood sl currently running a rather asthmatic 253 with single barrel carb trimatic and 10 bolt lsd.
The body is pretty neglected and has rust in the usual places but has a sold chassis and is not too bad really.
My plan is to fix rust, respray it drop it a few inches on some nice rims and freshen up the fluffy for sunday cruise duties then i will save for a built (maybe blown) chev motor and t400 for it.

Tanka pull that single barrel POS of the thong slaper and bolt a 308ci 4 barrel quadra jet manifold on it as they fit.
Just have to jet it down a bit and they work fine as that's what I did to my old thong slaper 253ci.
Every thing is the same exepct there are 2 stud's in the head's to hold the manifold on that have to be pulled out for to be able to fit other than that it work's.

Here's a picture of my old 253ci with a Quadra jet 4 barrel.

There is also 3 types of holden V8 manifolds, You need the right one to suit the engine. Otherwise they wont bolt on prperly or will sent exhuaste gasses straight into the valley.

It catches a few poeple out if they dont know.

yeh i was thinking of goin an edelbrock performer or something and a 4 barrel with a mild cam just to get the fluffy breathing and sounding better but dont wanna waste to much money on it. want a nice fat chev in it asap.
