Here's the dash. Lots of polishing been going on. Most of the chrome came up alright aswell, a few pits here and there but bright enough. I reckon i'll need sunglasses when cruising for sure.
I haven't finished mounting the stereo in the glovebox yet. Pretty shamefull old deck but who cares it's hidden....not that i'll probably listen to it much anyway.

i got her out of the garage today and cleaned all the crap off
Got some pressies in the mail aswell cpp master cyl. got an adjustable prop valve aswell and a roll of 3/16 brake tubing and '2 drop spindles with "12 rotors below and got the new fuel tank in See over the next few days i can get the front and rear screens in and the brakes done. Only problem is i found i am missing an adapter two join 2 3/16 brake lines and probably i will have to order one from the states as trying to get something like that here is pretty much useless. Pain in the **** for something that is worth $1

Thanks simpson,
i got a bit more done, a pretty crappy photo but this is her new stance with the '2 drop spindles M/cyl on, now i've got 2 crappy looking studs sticking out of the firewall . Now i know why you should mock everything up before paintingdiscs ground clearance now stuff knows how i'm gonna get it out of the garage Just got to wait for a 3/16 joiner to finish the brakes off

Hi guys, i little more progress.
I finished cutting the guts out of the rear seat to clear the new tubs. I think i'm starting to get the hang of this cutting up perfectly good original stuff ![]() It's nice to see a seat sitting in it, well just to try out anyway. Now i have to put the sound deadener through it I bought a billet wheel off ebay for $100 us and i think it looks pretty cool. I like the original wheel aswell but it's cracked up pretty bad so it needs repairing and painting and all the chrome replaced so i thought this will do for now and i'll fix the original when i can. I also fitted the gauges and i'm in the process of doing the wiring now.

Well it's been a while with no updates and i took a couple more photos so here goes.....lets see. I was going to patch up the wiring harness but the more i got into it i realised she deserved a new one so i bought a eze wiring 21 circuit harness, really cheap (about $140 us) i'm so glad i did, i'll be alot more relaxed knowing all the cables are not 52yrs old. So now all the electrical side of things is all sweet.
Next i put sound mat everywhere called fatmat (a hell of alot cheaper than dynomat). Then the carpet and seats. I've still got to do the door trims, rear parcel shelf, kick panels, roof lining etc. I'm still waiting to arrive a coupler for a brake line but once that gets here and i've got brakes i'll put the windscreen in and take her for her first test flog some pics the new fuse box with mini blade fuses (in this shot i still haven't tied up all the wires properly)

Thanks fellas!
Yeah i'm going to have to hunt down some cheapo rims for burnouts soon. Evidently BMW's have the same stud pattern so i'm going to go hunting the wrecking yards here for something. No Holdens here to pinch some old wheels off ........living back in Oz things were so much easier. I can even get stuck here buying a simple unc or unf bolt sometimes![]()
