Thanks guys. Yeah she has certainly come a long way from those horrible yellow beginnings. I just checked the start of this thread and it's been 2 and a bit years so far.

Now we are renovating a house here, i'm still paying a morgage in Australia for my house i'm trying to sell (been lowering the price gradually but i've only had one person look at it in 6 months) and we haven't been back to Australia in nearly 2 yrs so i have to pay to chuck the whole family on a plane soon (around $8000 just in plane tickets), then comes the holiday have a good time spending money ontop.
Anyway i can't complain, she'll get there in the end......and i am looking forward to a bloody good vacation in Australia
Oh and then there's that 8.71 blower, 700r4 trans and 4 link i have to save for aswell

Well i eventually got the joiner for the brake lines, bled the brakes and made up some wood ramps so she wouldn't scrape the exhaust coming out of the garage. So i took her out to give her a wash. I still need to fit the windscreen but i couldn't resist it and i had to test the new brakes so we took her for a little spin.
Runs sweet and feels heaps more responsive with the few changes made. Now i'm going to have to weld up the diff untill i can get a 9 inch and 4 link for it as when you tromp it it just smokes up 1 wheel
She also sits up a little in the bum. I don't know if i like it or not but i'll leave it for now because if i drop it more i won't be able to drive it anywhere without scraping.
here's some pics

Yeah i know i've been putting that off for a while. Gonna have to get off my butt. I got a bit put off after putting the rear screen in and when i washed it it was leaking past the seal. I don't think i put enough sealer in the window channel. I'm not sure now whether to pull it out again or just run another bead of sealer around it

Thanks man. They definately didn't build their homes over here thinking with a chev in the garage.
Now to top the car off (now i've got the tubs done) would be to sell these wheels and get some greg welds like yours, 10 or 12's on the back and 5's on the front and a narrowed 9 inch. Can't see it happening for a while yet though.
