Yeah i would love a big block but the 350 will have to keep me going for a while 'cause i want to get a decent trans and diff so i can give it a bit of punishment without worrying to much about something letting go.
These engines are rated 240hp stock and it's easy to get well over 300 without even lifting the heads or fitting a turbo or blower. So hopefully that will keep me going for a little.
I just got all new ball joints, front end rubbers etc delivered today, love getting pressies in the mail

Well i've finished welding up all the holes in the firewall, there was about 30 and smoothing it out a bit and now i'm ready for a bit of paint, only now i don't know which colour i'm gonna go. I was going to paint it black but the missus reckons it will be too black seeing i've already got black seats, black roofliner and black carpet. The seats do have a blue insert in them so then i was thinking maybe a nice blue, plus the wife said if i ever sell it i'll probly get more money for it here if it's painted blue (think she's trying to tell me something). Now i've seen a nice lighter metallic blue on a suzuki vitara that took my eye the otherday, don't know what to do

What do you guys think?

I got a bit more done to the beast, after alot of thought i decided painting the car in a metallic blue, so i been going for the last week seeing i´ve got a little time off,
first the primer,

painted the chassis in gloss black aswell and totally rebuilt everything, then i decided to paint it a Toyota colour i really took a liking to called 'blazing blué' in basecoat clearcoat, i ****ed up the first coat with runs but then rubbed it back and started again, turned out nice as

got the motor back together aswell
can´t wait to crank the fukr up

looking good mate, I really like that that metallic blue and the engine is looking *kickass* :)

Actually got a good vid for you that i'll hopefully get online today - on the weekend there was a blown '57 chev that entered the burnout comp and it was/is an immaculate car.

Just noticed a few NSW looking number plates on the wall? yellow and black and a black and white set?

Thanks for the link AJ, i´m on holidays at the moment so i can´t hear the sound of that beast so i´ll have to wait till i get back home.
That thing is the car i´ve dreamed off for years, an all black 210 4 door with a blower, and now i´ve painted mine blue
just jokes, i´m really happy with the colour i chose, it looks a bit brighter/lighter than it does in the photos, the garage needs better lighting.
I´ve got a few plates from around the place (and one from nsw), getting a little collection happening, plus in England we use to print plates at work so i made up a few customised plates for myself

I reckon the blue will look good and to be honest there was a peach coloured one at that show (two tone with white) and it looked good. They seem to be the type of car that just looks the goods no matter what colour it is. Except of course pink

heh printing plates would have been pretty awesome, probably would have made a boat load of them
