hey kickass57 what type of laws etc do you have to stick to over there.
Do you need as much bull**** as over here in NSW? be interesting to see what the limits are.

Don't know if you mean with car mods or in general?
Things are a fair bit behind here but are catching up
Up untill last year there was no points system and if you got done drink driving you just paid an on the spot fine and on your way.
The highway patrol only stick to the freeways and local police don't do anything so everyone still drives ****ed around the villages.
Car mods you are supposed to get any mod engineered but the police don't patrol it at all, it would only be if you had an accident then your insurance would be gone
I'm gonna get mine done when i change the reg(still on yank rego) but it's really cheap just lots of paperwork
I sit on 140km/h or more everywhere i go and i've yet to be booked , and that's past radars aswell, the speed limit here is 120 (most people don't pay much attention to that though)

Yeah things are pretty relaxed here, don't know how many times i could hardly even walk and driven my car home from the pub without a care in the world, just seems to be the done thing.
I suppose a bit like the old timers talk about Australia in the 60's and 70's
Not that that is really a good thing though, the fatality rate on the roads is shocking, not unusual for a holiday long weekend 80 or so dead
Sometimes you see the way some people drive and you think 'where the **** are the cops!'

Here's a couple more photos.
I've got it all wired up now and put the battery in the boot.
I'm just waiting for a bloody huge cross flow aluminium radiator i have ordered from the states (the old one was stuffed) to get here so i can crank her up and break in the new cam.
I'm gonna mount the rad infront of the radiator support so i will have some room for the blower pulleys (one day)

I'm thinking of maybe painting the roof a bluey silvery colour (you can see the colour on the water pump) to try and break up the blue a bit and also where the belair inserts are as i will be removing them ('cause it's not really a belair so why try to impersonate one.)
But not sure yet

photos won't come out in the post, fukn hate computers, hehe

Got my rad from the states and got it mocked up today and modified the rad support to fit, it supposed to cool up to 900 horses so they say (i'm thinking ahead for when i blow it.......one day ).
I'm so hanging to kick it in the guts, sucks waiting for parts now i have to wait for rad hoses and a thermo fan
Can't even just run it for a little bit as i have to do the cam break in on start up
