you done well with old 5L pinging and through the m20, cant wait to see you throw it round once you get it sorted.

yeah it was pinging when it got hot,,i took it out untuned/no timing done professionally and a stock carby and it still does lineys in 2nd,
not bad for what $ i paid for the car lol

the photo at work looks mad, i'm gonna have to drive the ford in one night and get a photo like that - my yellow xd will look good with all the milk crates in the background i reckon

are you sure it was pinging?
that ltd i drive was breaking down at high revs and after the needle and seat in the holley was cleaned up it revs cleanly now, that commy's only got a rochester qaudrajet still, it might only need a clean up

the car was mad bargain

time to fiddle with the timing or a bottle of nulon pro strength octane booster & bp ultimate98 then

when was the last time you put fresh petrol in it shane, you might of had stale fuel cause you bought unregoed back in around december aye??
