Hey guys I’m a new member on here & I thought I’d share some pics of one of my old Rides, enjoy!

The Specs:

Model: 1984 VK Calais
Colour: VL Calais Midnight Blue over Silver
Bodykit: What are they!
Engine Type: Pre Pollution Red 308 from a HJ Ute.
Engine Mods: L34 Heads, Yella Terra Adjustable Roller Rockers, Flat Top Pistons, Rollermaster Double Row Timing Chain, STD Crank, Cam Spec’s unknown, Edelbrock Performer RPM Manifold, Re-built Quadrajet, Re-graphed VK HEI Dizzy.
Power: 200 Hp @ Rear Wheels.
Exhaust: Genie Extractors, Twin 2” to Single 2.5” System
Gearbox: Strengthened Trimatic, no stallie.
Diff: Ford 9” 28 spline L.S.D. 3.25 gear set.
Brakes: Detailed VL Turbo up Front & Detailed STD Rears.
Suspension: Full Pedders Suspension Lowered 2”
Wheels/Tyres: Fully Polished ROH ZR6 17x8.5 Alloys & Falken 235/45/17
Interior: STD Light Blue Calais, MOMO Race Steering Wheel, Autometer Tacho & Oil Pressure Gauge & VB/C Head Rests Front & Rear
Stereo: Panasonic CD Head Unit, Pioneer 6.5” 180 watt 3-ways Front, Pioneer 6x9 260 watt 4-ways Rear, 10” Pioneer Sub in Boot & Philips 4 Channel Amp.
Other Mods: 1 Piece Tailshaft.
Cost: $15,000 not including original purchase of the Car.
Build Time: 2 Years

This Car was sold mid 2002 to make way for a House and a Family! However plans are being formed for an even bigger & better VK Calais in the Future!!!!

Cheers for that mate!

I wish I never sold it! I have been regreting it now for the past few years as I want another, but next time I'll Inject it rather than go the old carbie route plus I also want to chuck a decent size turbo on one! ;) and aim for the mid to high 9's!
