Default What celebs did you grow up with?

Just saw some vision of Steven Hooker (aussie high jumper) on the box and thought fark I remember that guy when he was a little tacker.

My sis use to go for a run with him in the mornings and I remember rolling out of a cab at about 6am with a mate and they were setting off for a morning run

So who do you know / use to know who is now a celeb?

Danni Minogue used to scab ciggies from me at Glenhuntly train station in Vic every morning before school, I think she was on Young talent time back then or the show was finishing up around that time. Now look at her! Also had the old bird that played Madge on Neighbours lived two doors down in Elwood.

Okay that was a serious spin-out mate when I read that, I was in Bmx Bandits, I did a few stunts, I used to be sponsored by a bike shop in Oakleigh many many years ago and we did freestyle for RWA (Rage without alcohol) at the royal Melbourne show and Sydney Easter show (I don't think I'd fit on a Bmx now lol)
Recently I was in Danny Deckchair and you can see me in the helicopter scene at the end, I am one of the reporters that runs over to the chopper and helps Rhys iffans and that sheila from home and away that played 'Roo' I think her name was Justine!? out of it and over to the limo, I'm wearing a red/pinkish looking shirt.

i went to school with cameron sinclaire (freestyle motorcross rider) and also jeff risley (olyimpic runner)

my bro used to catch a train every morning and bagged a girl by sarcasticly calling her "famous!" along with his bunch of mates. her real name is gabriella cilmi.

BMX Bandits i thought was a wicked flic when it came out. I'll have to download it and watch it now for a laugh

I had a GT pro performer, Haro FST and a Master very cool bikes in their day. You can actually still buy them from this site..
BMXmuseum.com Bikes / G

I was thinking of getting a couple and hanging them on the wall with a wooden frame around them, kind of a 3d art type thing but, the wife shut that down lol

Wow, thanks for the link. I found some skyways exactly the same as mine (but in alot better condition). Might give me some motorvation for the restoration though i think should finish my car first
