Have to agree strange class. Interpretation of street is like beauty, all in the eye of the beholder.
IMO street would mean a car that is "legitimately" engineered to drive on the street and a car that can run on fuel bought at a servo. I rarely give Yanks any due, but their Hot Rod Power Tour has it covered, as most "street cars" in Australia would have trouble driving more than 100km let alone compete in this event. Block I enjoy giving you crap, but not many cars can 'truly' do a round trip to Bathurst, via Goulburn and with NOTHING more than a tyre change run a 10sec pass, plenty will argue otherwise but need the tank topped up with addatives etc, if not timing changes and diff jets blah blah blah Last edited by Garrett; 17-12-2009 at 04:24 PM. |

I spoke to Simon last night & he said the slidealinks should be fine. I must admit i'm not to worried as a "true street" class that doesn't run on pump fuel is a farce in my opinion anyway...
