good hotels near wsid!

as the title states im headen up to sydney to watch the nitrochamps in april and want to know what hotels/motels are good to stay at up there and are close to wsid?

rooty hill rsl has a resort there its about 5 to 10 minutes drive from the track not sure of there rates but i know most of the interstate racers head there for accomodation

There is quite a few around ...I think there is actually one beside the old track just built ?? Panthers is about 15 mins down the freeway plus there are various little cheaper ones around. Guess it depends how close you wanna be and what you want to spend....

I have stayed at both the Eastern Creek Chifley (next door to Eastern Creek Raceway) and the Blacktown Travel lodge.

The Chifley was closer but the att. bar and grill was a rort. The Blacktown T/lodge was about 5 min away but the att sports club was the best !!!

Google both to check rates/location etc.
