Are you keeping the banjo diff. a good conversion would be 2 use a btr diff from a pintara. Cut the brackets off and weld on the holden ones to fit up to the torri springs. There is many ratio options for these diffs. I would go a 3.23 ratio. Some poeple say turbo motors need tall gears to load the motor to get it into boost. Im still not convinced, Im changing to a set of 4.11 as going to get into more draging. cheers kris

9 inch would be a little overkill if it is mainly seing street use. There are lots of vl comm's in the nines with the standard btr diff. And a btr diff weighs heaps less than a 9 inch. Second hand gear sets on every street corner, nearly,.

Btr is the same as the old borgwarner. I think btr took over borgwarner. These diffs came out in heaps of different cars from vl onwards comodore, fords and australian deliverd pintaras and skylines. I just used the pintara as an example as they are easy to get and are shorter than commodore ones which would suit the little torrie. The pintara Im refering to is arround the 90's model. I just picked up one for $110 with 4;11 gears.
