what causes blower surge?

it bloody sounds awesome but what causes it? not all blown cars do it, is it large boost? or a tighter lsa on the cam say 112 that bleeds boost to make it surge?

only time mine surged was when it was running lean on the dyno, not ideal for a supercharged engine

mine did the same thing on the engine dyno aswell mate when it was lean at idle

I love this clip when he is following the police van lol Balls of steel.

What makes a blown engine hunt ( lobe over , surge ect ) is the cam shaft. the bigger the better it will do it. And it will also incress with More PSI.

Even funnier when the almost stock N/A cars do it , At the start of the nats about 3% of the cars do it and usally by the end of the nats 50% of the cars are doing it,

man i love the blower surge but reckon it's pretty awesome when you see a n/a car getting the cam traetment (foot on foot off ) when the front end lifts it looks pretty cool

alot of it has to do with tuning, also running mechanical injection makes it hunt nicly to, as the cam drivin fuel pump plays catch up with the revs.

its also not all that good for the engine, and many people say its a poor tune, but its sounds tuff!!
