Meguiars Motorex entered its 8th year this year and is by far one of the leading shows on the Australian calendar. Encompassing hotrods, street machines, custom bikes, hitech tuners, American muscle, high performance speed machines, sports racing and classics all under the one roof. Motoex is held in the Main exhibition halls of Sydney Olympic Park, it’s a nostalgic drive, I found myself thinking “this place was chock full of spandex wearing hottys in 2000″ and now Australia’s top modified cars and bikes call this home once a year.

Motorex 2008 showed off some of Australia’s finest custom cars and bikes. From BLOWJO - a blown injected XY falcon, with a list of mods that is seemingly endless. From the airbrushed under carriage, shaved door handles, billet rotors, perfect paint, 2 + 2 seating layout, the list just goes on. An amazing car that you could spend hours drooling over.

Full blown drag cars have their place at Motorex too, with the Pro Flo LX Torana powered by a 383ci stroker and two Garrett TA45 turbos has run an 8.78second pass @ 153mph (definitely no trailer queen)!
