Well more progress on the datto. After installing the turbo last week, I came unstuck when trying to hook up the MAF sensor as the outlet from the compressor housing is 4″(100mm) and the MAF Sensor is 3″(76mm). So a reducer was needd and 4″ to 3″ silicone reducers aren’t an off the shelf item unfortunately. Not cheap either, costing me $132 buckeroos!
Anyways she’s all hooked up now as you can see below and went off without a hitch.
I also managed to rewire the new MAF sensor (Z32 300ZX MAF sensor). The difference in diameter between the two is enormous, i’ll take a few pics tomorrow and measurements. Also tomorrow I’ll add how to go from the stock sr20det MAF sensor to the 300ZX MAF sensor.
